Where and when is the 2011 Joondalup Christmas Lunch held?

The 2011 Joondalup Christmas Lunch will be held at Central Park in Joondalup on Christmas Day 25th December 2011. Activities will kick off at around 11.30am and will finalise at 2.30pm

How do I get to Central Park Joondalup.

The park is located on the corner of Grand Boulevard and Collier Pass in Joondalup, approximately 100 metres from the Joondalup Train and Bus Station. At this stage we are yet to confirm what bus services will be available on Christmas Day, details will be added to this site when confirmed.

How do I register as a guest or volunteer?

Guest can register by clicking on the Lunch Registration tab on the left of this page and then completeing all of the details, or registration forms are available at all City of Joondalup Libraries

Unfortunately all volunteer spots are filled for this years Lunch. Volunteer registrations for the 2012 Joondalup Christmas Lunch will open on 1 October 2012

How much does it cost?

The Joondalup Christmas Lunch is free for all attending, but donations to support future lunches will be graciously accepted. The lunch is to cater for those who are isolated, no family, lonely or who cannot afford a meal of their own on Christmas Day.

We could not hold this lunch without the generous support of our wonderful event sponsors.

What sort of food is served?

A fantastic spread is provided by WA Spit Roasts which consists of roast beef and gravy, roast turkey and cranberry sauce, roast potatoes, 5 salads and bread rolls. Vegetarian and barbeque options are also available. This fantastic meal is finished off with a wonderful Christmas pudding and custard.

Is it a smoke free event?

Yes.

We have 3 levels of sponsorship.

Gold sponsorship is for support above $1500 and will give your business full acknowledgement on our website, marketing materials and media releases. Your business name will be promoted on an entry board to the 2010 Joondalup Christmas Lunch and you will receive a small plaque as acknowledgement of your wonderful support.

Silver sponsorship for support over $1000 will see your business acknowledged on our website and in media releases.

Bronze sponsorship for support above $500 will see your business name promoted on this website.

Can I make a donation to support the Joondalup Christmas Lunch

Of course, any support will be graciously and willingly accepted. This event could not function without the very generous support of our wonderful community and sponsors.

Where do I park?

On-street parking is available on Grand Boulevard or Collier Pass opposite Central Park. Ample car parking exists next to Joondalup Train Station, and Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre off Collier Pass. Additional parking is available in front of the Lotteries Building or City of Joondalup offices on Boas Avenue located just behind Central Park. Most parking is available within a 5 min walk to the event.

What access and facilities are available for people with disabilities or in a wheelchair?

Easy access to the venue is available for wheelchairs from Grand Boulevard directly into Central Park, and a separate unisex toilet is available for wheelchair access.
Most of the pathways leading into Central Park are wide and flat, the venue itself is on grass which is close to pathways and easily negotiated.

Where is the nearest train station?

Joondalup Train Station is approximately a 10 minute walk to the venue.
