Great news.

 The Joondalup Christmas Lunch has been awarded the West Australian Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Award. It has been award to the hardworking Committee who put in a huge effort throughout the year and to the many wonderful community volunteers who give up their time to make it special for those who are isolated and alone on Christmas Day.  JC Sulon & Jeff Fullelove were given the award by the Premier Colin Barnett and The City of Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard at the Joondalup Australia Day Citizenship ceremony on Thursday.

On behalf of the committee, I would sincerely like to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, church members and supporters who have cheered on and contributed over the past 4 years. I would also like to thank the fantastic committee for their great efforts.

Don’t forget we will have our first 2012 meeting on Saturday 4th February at Cornerstone Church, 3 Lago Place Joondalup, kicking off at 9am.

25 December 2011- Over 500 people attended a fantastic lunch in the Park. Huge thanks to all of the volunteers who assisted in making the day special.

28 February 2011- Planning is already underway for the 2011 JCL. Guest and volunteer registrations will open in October.

25 December 2010- What a great day, over 500 guests enjoyed a day of great music and enterainment, sensational food and good company. It was HOT but all endured in the true spirit of Christmas.
