A global pandemic, the heat and the flies! Nothing could stop the 2020 Joondalup Christmas Lunch from proceeding safely and what a lovely and enjoyable afternoon it was!

Our guests and volunteers brought the Spirit of Christmas as we tucked into an amazing feast from Spit Roast Catering and enjoyed live entertainment from superb local talent!

In 2012, The Joondalup Christmas Lunch was awarded the West Australian Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Award. It was awarded to the hardworking Committee who put in a huge effort throughout the year and to the many wonderful community volunteers who give up their time to make it special for those who are isolated or in hardship on Christmas Day.

JC Sulon & Jeff Fullelove were presented the award by Premier Colin Barnett and The City of Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard at the Joondalup Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony.

On behalf of the committee, I would sincerely like to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors, church members and supporters who have cheered on and contributed over the years. I would also like to thank the fantastic committee for their great efforts!
